History

Interpreters, Inc. was founded by Sara Gardner. She is certified as an interpreter by the Office of State Courts administrator in the State of Missouri and Iowa. She has also obtained the national certification in healthcare from CCHI. She has completed extensive educational programs including the Agnese-Haury Institute for Interpretation and Translation at the University of Arizona and Bridging the Gap. Further, she is a licensed trainer for The Community Interpreter® program. Sara conducts Instructional programs for area interpreters and is recognized as one of the foremost authorities on interpretation and translation in the Midwest. She has testified as an expert witness in federal and state criminal proceedings and has been nationally recognized as an expert on drug slang by the United States Circuit Court for the 10th Circuit. Sara is a member in good standing of the National Association of Judicial Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT) and the American Translators Association (ATA).

Today, Interpreters, Inc.’s staff has grown to meet the ever-increasing demands of the community. Additional language services are constantly being added to ensure Interpreters, Inc. will continue to meet these changing needs.
