Interpreters, Inc. was founded by Sara Gardner. She has a BA in Foreign Languages and Literature with an emphasis in Spanish. She is certified as an interpreter by the Office of State Courts administrator in the State of Missouri and Iowa and obtained the national certification in healthcare from CCHI. She has completed extensive programs including the Agnese-Haury Institute for Interpretation and Translation at the University of Arizona and Bridging the Gap. Sara is also an adjunct instructor at Maple Woods Community College since 2008. She is responsible for the development and implementation of curriculum of a year-long Foreign Language Interpreting course. Further, she is a licensed trainer for The Community Interpreter, international program. Sara conducts Instructional programs for area interpreters and is recognized as one of the foremost authorities on interpretation and translation in the midwest. She has testified as an expert witness in federal and state criminal proceedings and has been nationally recognized as an expert on drug slang and google translate by the United States Circuit Court for the 10th Circuit. Sara is also a member in good standing of the National Association of Judicial Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT) and the American Translators Association (ATA).
Today, Interpreters, Inc.'s staff and contract interpreters has grown to meet the ever-increasing demands of the community. Additional language services are constantly being added to ensure Interpreters, Inc. will continue to meet these changing needs.
